Somewhere in your stack, a notice window closes in

The contract renewed.Nobody knew it was due.

Try it on your contract

Paste a renewal clause. See the trap.

Drop the renewal or termination paragraph from one of your vendor contracts below. We will read it and tell you whether it is an auto-renewal trap, the notice window, and any annual escalator. No signup, no storage.

Three things that keep happening

You have seen this movie before.

The shape of every avoidable contract loss is one of these three.

The renewal that already happened

It auto-renewed four days ago. The team only found out when the invoice arrived. Now you are locked in for another twelve months at last year's price, with last year's vendor, and there's nothing legal can do about it.

The spreadsheet that nobody updated

Q1 was thorough. Q2 had three rows missing a renewal date. By Q3 the person who built the sheet had moved teams. The next renewal is the one that nobody knew was due.

The clause that took a paralegal three hours

Finance asked which contracts have a 90-day notice window over $10K in value. The answer required opening 47 PDFs by hand, or a £400-an-hour billable from outside counsel. There has to be a faster way.

The notice window is the bug. Not the contract.

Most ops teams discover a contract auto-renewed after they have already been locked in for another year. The notice window for the average enterprise SaaS contract is 60 to 90 days, buried on page 12 of the master agreement.

Spreadsheets get updated for the first month. Then the person who built the sheet leaves, the next renewal lands as a surprise invoice, and the budget is committed for another twelve months at the vendor’s price.

The fix is not another CLM. The fix is a renewal layer that sits next to your spreadsheet and your inbox, reads the contract once, and tells the right person before the window closes.

NOT ANOTHER CLM

Simpler than a spreadsheet. Lighter than a CLM.

Most tools either miss renewal dates entirely or cost six figures and take months to deploy.

Why this exists

I kept watching the same thing happen at companies of every size: a vendor contract auto-renewed, nobody knew it was due, and the budget got committed for another year at last year’s price.

The fix isn’t another CLM. The fix is something simple enough that the finance lead at a 200-person company can use it on a Tuesday morning without asking IT for help.

Renewly is that thing. If you try it and something’s off, email me directly. I read every reply.

Questions we hear a lot

Frequently Asked Questions

Contract management and security

What happens if I miss a contract renewal deadline?
Many contracts include auto-renewal clauses that renew for another term (often 12 months) if you don’t provide notice within 60-90 days. This locks you into unfavorable terms and prevents renegotiation. Missed notice windows are one of the largest hidden costs in vendor management - each unwanted renewal locks in 12 months of spend you could have renegotiated or cut.
How does automatic contract analysis work?
Upload your PDF contract and our extraction engine identifies renewal dates, notice periods, auto-renewal clauses, payment terms, and risks within seconds. You should always verify extracted information, but it saves hours of manual review.
How much does it cost?
Free forever for up to 5 contracts. Pro is $99/month for unlimited contracts. Unlike enterprise CLMs costing $500-2000/month with complex implementations, Renewly focuses on renewal tracking with simple pricing.
Is my contract data secure?
AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit. Hosted on SOC 2 Type II infrastructure (Vercel + Supabase); Supabase also carries ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Row-level security enforces complete data isolation. Renewly is dual-region: you choose EU or US at signup and your data stays in that region.
What happens to my data during processing?
Your document is stored securely in your account in your selected region. Contract text is then sent to our extraction sub-processors, which operate under zero retention and do not train on your data, per their API terms. Two stages cross-region today and a per-org opt-out is available. See /trust for the full sub-processor map.
